I used to suffer from tinnitus. I was a former DJ during the heydays of DISCO. I did not properly protected my ears (one of the major causes of tinnitus) especially my left ear as that was the ear I used for "mixing". By following the steps outlined in the Tinnitus Miracle book, I was able to reduce the noise in my left ear. It has not completely gone away. But it is to a point where I am not aware of it.
